Hi, I’m Christine Davis, the travel enthusiast and broker behind Kiwi Travel Guru!
After five years of consulting and then managing the Kilbirnie Flight Centre, I made a lifestyle decision in 2004 to start my own business as a Travel Broker and haven’t looked back. In 2009 I rebranded to Kiwi Travel Guru.
Due to my flexible hours, I have the time to go the extra mile for my clients to ensure that I get them the best deal to meet their travel needs- nothing is too big or too small.
I currently work from home in Wellington (post covid adjustment from having an office in town) . I am only available for appointments on Friday’s 9:00am-6:00pm but am working outside these hours and if these times do not suit your busy schedule I am happy to arrange a time to fit in with you. I am only ever a phone call or email away -if required I am available 24 hours, 7 days a week for emergencies.
I am passionate about travel, having been fortunate to have travelled to and/or lived in over 35 countries. My first-hand knowledge of these countries and destinations ensures that I can provide practical advice to best assist you with your travel plans. I have done everything from backpacking on a shoestring budget to staying at some of the most stunning resorts around the world.
I am proactive and will always seek new ways to make your leisure travel more relaxing, your business travel more efficient and cost effective, and your adventure travel more enjoyable. I am committed to delivering exceptional customer service to my clients. I can assist you with everything to do with your next trip: airfares, necessary visas, train or bus passes, coach tours, cruises and any insurance needs. I am your one-stop shop for all your travel needs.

Over 20 years experience in the travel industry
My career in the travel industry began at the Kilbirnie Flight Centre, where I began as a travel consultant before being promoted to Manager. After spending 5 years there I made a lifestyle decision in 2004 to start my own business as a travel broker and I currently broker through “Air New Zealand Holidays Brokers”, a member of NZ Travel Brokers.
In October 2009 I re-branded my business to Kiwi Travel Guru and I can’t wait to see where business takes us next!

I work from my CBD office in Wellington City, and am available Monday to Friday from 9am -5pm for appointments. However I can happily make a time with you that suits your schedule, 24/7.
I’m also completely mobile, so if you would like me meet me at your home or office my laptop has everything we need to get you off the ground!
